Excellent Picture Quality but poor tuners quality

Pros: Picture quality was good right out the box, Good off angle viewing. Good sound.

Cons: Very weak OTA tuners.

Summary: A great TV but not for use with OTA antenna as you will need cable or satelite. The TV is unable to pick up some local OTA stations while others have lots of artifacts. My 3 year old Sanyo can get 25 local digital OTA stations 8 of which are HD and never has artifacts or other problems using the same antenna. The presets are too dark for me but can be adjusted. I used the Disney WOW Blu-Ray calibration disc to calibrate the TV to my liking. Black levels look good to me but I don’t watch TV in a dark room. It is a great TV for $700. Works nicely with my LG BD player with TV remote controling both units with the HDMI simplink feature.
