This is the best of the best TV, you don’t need to spend money on the c8000 and c9000 series, the c7000 is just great and cheap.
I’m glad that I did purchase the plasma over the LED, my neighbor got the LED and he is always settles on my couch

Summary: I purchased this t.v. at Best Buy for $1,399.00 two days ago. I had found it at Conns for same price but Best Buy was running special where they threw in 19 inch t.v. for free. If its free, why not. So far I love this t.v. It has a stunning picture that “pops” out at you. I do not spend over $200.00 without spending tons, probably to much, of time on the internet reading reviews of what I am going to buy. I saw some that mentioned a buzzing sound but I have tried hard to hear it and I do not hear a buzzing sound when using the t.v. speakers. I am not using the sound from the t.v. anyway so do not even see this as a problem. I read about some not liking the speakers on the t.v. but they sound fine to me. So, if you do not have a sound system I think you will still be pleased.
I was stunned by how real the picture appeared to me. As i mentioned earlier, it just “pops” out at you. I am sure there might be some t.v. out there that has a better picture but I did not want to spend $5,000.00 on a t.v. This one fit my budget and I think I got every bit of it from this t.v.
There are no nternet hookups for this t.v. so as long as you do not neet internet on your t.v., this t.v. is for you.
I put in a movie on the DVD player to check out the picture and found myself amazed. I also hooked up an Xbox and again, just as pleased.
Without a doubt, I would recommend this to other people.
Look out for Samsung PN50C6500 on Amazon, they offer most products at exceedingly reasonable rates. You could also go through the customer reviews and specifications of Samsung PN50C6500.
Pros: picture quality is best i have seen vs lcd or led, framing has a very finished look, swivel feature is great! The glare is only an issue if the sunlight directly hits the screen and you don’t have other viewing angle options.
Cons: didn’t like the fact you have to buy a wireless plugin to use the samsung apps. that should have been built in and for $80 to boot is why this only gets a 4 star mark. A roku box or apple tv is more bang for the buck.
Summary: the richness of this plasma really enhances the viewing pleasure. Blu Ray is just the best. With a 50 inch screen and a good sound system. I go to the movies only for the blockbusters. I rarely purchased dvd’s but with this new screen I’ll be buying several blu rays for my collection. well worth the money.
